"...The Bible says God was angry when man tried to reach heaven by building a tower (later named Babel); he stopped the work by devising different languages that made understanding impossible. Babel came to mean noise and miscommunication..."

For me, some movies are in "Marie Antoinette" category, historical, some like Running with Scissors, realistic, and some purely my type of movie...
I'm talking about 21 Grams or Babel...
For some of us it is hard to find a passion, and for some there's no need for an effort. But this doesn't matter, as long as our passions come purely from within.
For me passion is something that gives me power. It could make me very happy or very sad. But it reminds me that I am alive.
I have not seen Babel yet, But just reading about it, was enough to remind me of who I really am...My heart shrinks, and tears gather in my eyes, knowing our lack of power in the unsatisfying control of our lives, and this is assuring me of what I want to do!
"My heart ached today, for you,
for you that your world is as silent as I can never hear,
and me with all this heart,
I can never be, unless I know I did my part in the history,
If I am here only for me,
I shall be in the moon,
growing my flower,
and If I am here only for you,
I shall be under the soil,
where I will be soon inevitably,
But if I am here for us,
for all of us,
I shall be for us,
I shall hear for all of us,
and I shall see for all of us,
If I am weaker than you,
I shall help you to feel me,
and if I am stronger,
I shall help you to listen to me,
If I am breathing without you holding my hand,
so I shall be on a life support,
If I am grown,
and if I am not grown with you,
I might as well be inside an "Incubator",
If my visions are getting clearer today,
If you are a simple reason for me to know myself better,
today, I shall celebrate me being in this world,
and you being by my side,
If I am your ears,
your eyes,
your hands,
and you skin,
let me be in your heart,
in your mind,
so my visions go clearer,
and I shall smile,
Being here today,
makes me stronger,
step by step toward making us stronger
and making us a whole..."

Hey sweetie, beautifully passionate post as usual, after watching the movie Im so glad you dragged me to watch... It was truly an amazing journey into the heart of amazing show of humanity and inhumanity at the same time... Im amazed that you wrote this poem before watching the movie, as it could have very well been used as the last scene of it!
