In Niz Bogzarad...
Today is my last day of work at EC; as all of us should do, I would like to make a short summary of my accomplishments during this work term:
I learned a lot about Oil and Gas Industry in Canada,as well as U.S. and other countries!
I learned how to work completely independently on my own, and found out my strength and weaknesses in this area.
I got a lot of hints on professional communicational skills; my boss was not the most open person in the whole world, very conservative at times, and as for me, if you start to be conservative, I'll show you one real conservative face of me...so it was a battle of conservatives, up to the end, which we both kind of opened up after a sequence of events, and now everything totally rocks and I have to leave...bye bye bye!
I also met a lot of new people, good friends I should say, not like those who judge you the first moment that they get the opportunity of, but like true friends that like you for who you are and respect your boundaries. I used to sometimes forget that my whole new social life is ahead of me in my future workforce, but now I see, no matter how weird people can get at university, how desperate, jealous, or childish, there is always a billion more people out there that learned from their mistakes and know how to socialize with you! And again, they are not scared to take RISKS! I always admire these people!
I went on two trips as well, one to the U.S which was extraordinary and amazing; and the other to Montreal, and in both not only I met again lovable relatives and old friends, but also I had great new experiences...
As you see, for me, it's not always about work...EC was a great place to work, I most definitely get back to it after experiencing what I need to experience now!
As I look at my office and my packed stuff, I know I am going to miss it here, but I also know I am moving forward to a new phase of my life where I am older and wiser!
Thank you for making my work term a special experience for me!
I love you all!
